Game Design

Game Designers wear many hats. Systems define the experience. Levels and content define the world. Narrative tells the story. Game Design is a mash-up of art, programming, mathematics, and narrative. The Game Design portfolio gives you a peek into the interdisciplinary nature of the design process. Check it out. Do you see yourself in the role of the game designer?

Game Production

Production is what the Game Studio at Champlain College is all about. In the production portfolio you can check out the best games from Production I in the sophomore year, to the two-semester sequence of Senior Production. Students have many options in each class from choosing their own development tools and delivery platform, to the art-style, content and narrative for their game. Are you ready to realize your vision? Game Programming

Programming is more than just writing code. Our programmers explore many independent, creative projects like exploring 2D and 3D graphics, new artificial intelligence behaviors, game physics, and building their own game engines. Whether you are interested in mobile development or hard-core consoles, you’ll find something to interest you. Check it out. Do you see yourself as a technology pioneer?
