Description:

Lead designer Derek Harde describes “Eisenseele” an on-rails shooter set in a post-steampunk world. The cultures of Welkin, having discovered the steam engine, delved deep into the earth to fine alternate fuel sources. Unfortunately, they tapped into a pocket within Welkin’s crust, and a lethal gas began to escape into the air. This gas, later named “The Miasma” covered the surface of the land, leaving only the highest mounts untouched. The population of the world escaped into the air on hastily built airships and dirigibles. Now, only the richest live on the few exposed peaks, and the rest ply the skies in craft built on the scraps of the old world.
