We’re Taking Our Esports Program to the Next Level

After years of running our successful Esports club, the new Champlain College Esports (CCE) program builds on Champlain’s long-standing leadership in career-focused game development programs by offering new teams, games, and competitive opportunities to our dedicated community of Esports competitors and media production enthusiasts.

Feel free to contact us on our email or social media with any questions you might have and make sure to join our Discord server to keep up with current events and the community! Interested in competing? Contact Esports Director Christian Konczal at ckonczal@champlain.edu.

Three Team Options

This wouldn’t be an Esports program without some competition! To facilitate our student’s passion for individual growth and to serve students along the entire spectrum of skill, we have multiple ways that one can engage with the competitive aspects of the program:

– Varsity— For the best and the hungry; if you think you have what it takes to represent Champlain at this level and have the drive to consistently better yourself, then our Varsity teams are for you! This is our most competitive program.

– JV— For teams who have stood the test of time, live our ideals, and consistently strive for growth! For competitive players who may want to play at the Varsity level in the future or want to compete on a smaller stage.

– Club Teams— For teams and players who are new to the world of competitive gaming and want to see what it’s all about.

Six Majors. One Experience.

The Game Studio at Champlain College is the premier program for students looking to get a professional game development experience from day one of their education. Take major-specific classes and learn the skills and techniques that go into building your favorite games. Work as a team with other game students and construct fully functional games that you can download, play, and publish. By graduation, you’ll be prepared to succeed in a rewarding career in game development. At the Game Studio, we don’t simulate what game development could look like—we put you in the middle of the real game studio experience.
