Featuring three different weapons to unlock, all of which can progress to stronger versions of themselves, you will have all the tools necessary to destroy your enemies. We’ve made Dead Pedal to target gamers who’s primary motivations are with excitement and destruction. We want our players to feel a thrill from going off of jumps, and destroying enemies. We want them to feel more powerful as they destroy more factions and claim their upgraded weapons. The vast landscape should also feel like a new and desolate place, like something they’ve never seen before.
We’ve created our own driving model for Dead Pedal to use in order to create the most highly customized experience possible. We built this from the ground up after we had formed the team from the original game we had made two years ago, Dead Pedal: Drifting. We were passionate about bringing the original isometric view to a full 3rd person perspective to give a driving experience the attention it deserves. This is our team’s first experience using Unreal Engine 5 as well, as we wanted to be industry ready with multiple engines.
